Go-Biz Grant on Tuesday City Council Agenda

At tomorrow's 1:30pm City Council meeting, the City Council will consider a recommendation to accept and appropriate the $6.5 million Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (Go-Biz) Grant.

Staff's recommendation is for the Go-Biz funds to be used on no-interest loans and grants for all eligible expenses, no-interest loans to assist with the purchasing of properties that serve multiple equity operators, workforce development programs, ongoing technical and legal assistance, and extending equity applicants' eligibility to equity assistance program services like technical and legal assistance, loans and grants for two years since the last date they were verified as an equity applicant.
