Red Flag Warning for parts of the East Bay starting 11PM Tuesday 8/17 night and lasting until Wednesday 8/18 at 3PM.

As part of the East Oakland Mobility Action Plan, the Oakland Department of Transportation is currently applying for funding to develop concepts for safer multimodal transportation improvements along 73rd Avenue/Hegenberger Road between Eastmont Transit Center and Coliseum BART Station.

The Department of Transportation will engage community members to prioritize improvements to transit, pedestrian, and bicycle safety and comfort. 73rd Avenue Active Routes to Transit will advance the principles outlined in the East Oakland Mobility Action Plan with implementable projects for the East Oakland community.

Projects that are implemented will improve connections between the Coliseum BART station and the International Blvd BRT station, in addition to key neighborhood destinations along the corridor such as the Eastmont Transit Center.

Project Survey: Let us know what non-vehicular (walking, biking, personal mobility) connection you prefer between International Boulevard and Coliseum BART at the following link

Announcements and updates on this project will be posted on this page.
