Fox Oakland Theater, Inc. (FOT), a non-profit affiliate of the City of Oakland, in cooperation with the City’s Economic & Workforce Development Department, is seeking a well-qualified vendor to provide property management services for the Fox Oakland Theater building.
The City of Oakland will install bulbouts, bike lanes, crosswalks, conduct traffic signal modifications and sidewalk repairs, and repave College Ave from Broadway to Alcatraz Avenue.

The Mobile Assistance Community Responders of Oakland (MACRO) Program is a community response program for non-violent, non-emergency 911 calls. The purpose of MACRO is to meet the needs of the community with a compassionate care first response model grounded in empathy, service, and community. MACRO's goal is to reduce responses by emergency services (Fire & Police), resulting in increased access to community-based services and resources for impacted individuals and families, and most especially for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
Third-party Excavation (x) Permits are required before excavating the public right-of-way. An additional Obstruction Permit is required before blocking or obstructing any street parking, curb/gutter, sidewalk, or traffic lane.

Former creeks, now buried in culverts, are memorialized by a series of bronze relief sculptures embedded into sidewalks at locations above these culverts. The pieces portray stepping stones surrounded by native fauna that inhabit the creeks such as Rainbow Trout, Pacific Chorus Frogs, California Newts and dragonflies. Each site features five bronze “stepping stones” inviting the visitor to step across as if crossing a creek.
