Kyle O’Malley is an attorney with Phillips, Erlewine, Given & Carlin, where he represents people harmed, exploited, or marginalized by the powerful or unscrupulous, including by prosecuting employment and consumer actions in furtherance of the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities. After graduating top of his class at Stanford University, he attended the University of Virginia Law, where he served on the managing board of the Journal of Law & Politics and as a Legal Writing Fellow in the Department of Legal Research and Writing. The son of a speech and language pathologist and brother of a special education teacher, Kyle is passionate about disability advocacy and policy, local government, and the law. He and his partner Andy (an artist and climate activist) live in Oakland, where they are proud to contribute to its deep-rooted traditions of service to community and leadership through action.
