St. Vincent de Paul also open Saturday as respite center, in addition to public libraries.

Oakland, CA – With air quality remaining at “very unhealthy” levels, the City’s shelter at St. Vincent de Paul—which has recently expanded from a winter shelter to a year-round shelter—has beds available for the homeless tonight.

In addition, St. Vincent de Paul is opening its doors tomorrow, Saturday, November 17, as an all-day drop-in respite center from 9:30 am – 3:00 pm for unsheltered residents looking for an indoor reprieve from unhealthy air quality.
