About

The Bancroft Avenue Project was awarded funded by the Highway Safety Improvement Program in 2016. The project installs pedestrian safety improvements on Bancroft Avenue between Havenscourt Boulevard and 98th Avenue. Pedestrian improvements include high visibility crosswalk striping and flashing lights at eleven intersections. There will also be new high visibility crosswalks striping, more visible signal lights, and pedestrian countdown lights at four traffic lights on the corridor. Bike lanes will be striped where they have worn down at 75th Avenue and 96th Avenue.
